Following the report in the Times Higher Education of an alarming drop in modern languages admissions in UK higher education, Andrea Wilczynski, Head of Modern Languages at Newcastle University, has written a rebuttal reminding us that top level UCAS codes hide a more vibrant and diverse reality for modern languages.
