Following the UK’s withdrawal from Erasmus+ and the introduction of the new Turing Scheme, Wales has now announced that it will be implementing its own programme that seeks to maintain the elements of Erasmus+ that are not included in Turing. The Welsh scheme will include staff and student mobility, and will cover both outgoing and incoming exchanges. The scheme will run from 2022-26 and the Welsh government has committed £65million to support it.

UCML welcomes this development, and you can read more about the scheme on the Welsh government website.
