The UCFL Early Career Academics Special Interest Group continues to organise training, networking and support events, and will be doing so over the coming year. They have a dedicated webpage for these activities on our website.
Plans for this term include:
- ECA languages funding opportunities session
- Beyond lecturing: careers in translation
- Publishing for academic and non-academic audiences
- Informal virtual writing social sessions.
The SIG continue to manage a popular mentoring programme which offers one-to-one support for ECAs in Languages.
