The Languages, Society and Policy Journal is an open access online journal that addresses languages, cultures and societies. It has just released a new special issue, guest-edited by Wendy Ayres-Bennett and Charles Forsdick, that explores the current state, challenges and opportunities of Languages Education in the UK. It particularly focuses on ways in which the UK can embrace its linguistic diversity to tackle the language crisis. The introduction and first three papers of the special have already been launched and another eight will be made available soon
